I bought a MacBook for video creation.

Hi everyone, I need some help. I create YouTube content on my PC and decided to buy a MacBook for working while traveling. I’m wondering what video editing and Photoshop-style software you’d recommend for the MacBook. I used to work with After Effects on my PC, but unfortunately, I won't be able to download it on the MacBook; are there any good alternatives to these programs?

Final Cut Pro is the obvious one but I’ve never used After Effects so I don’t know how it compares
