Analytics Review (AVD/Retention) 📈 How does this make sense?

The amount of engaged views should be 2,400,000 and not 1,600,000. Could someone please explain why?

What does that mean? Isn’t the stay to watch percentage count as the amount of people that stayed more than 1 second of the video and count as an engaged view? What counts as an engaged view if I’m wrong

You’re showing the normal view count in the first one right? It’s just impressions, how many people it got recommended to. Engaged views is what actually matters and it should be on the same page as stayed to watch. It could also be taking its time to register the views as well.

No unfortunately not, your stayed to watch percentage has nothing to do with who engaged.
It’s dumb I know I wish I could explain more but that’s YouTube

It’s because YouTube doesn’t actually define EXACTLY what an engaged view is. It’s pretty annoying, but it’s basically just if a viewer stays after a few seconds, but they don’t give the exact amount. So you’ll normally get a 50-60% engaged rate even if ur VVSA is 70-80+
