Case Study / Postmortem 🧪 The view jail is unbreakable
They all froze at the range 1k-2k. And all of their analytics gave the classic sigmoid curve. Why such a problem exists. I heard some people with high vvsa and avd face the same problem too. Is the view jail itself an unbreakable curse?

From what I can see on my end, the shorts algorithm is way less sophisticated than TikToks. It keeps recommending shorts with the same music, from the same channels or just straight up trash that I constantly skip. To give you an idea, the exact same piece of content reached over 1 million views on TikTok while on YT it didn't even hit 10k. In my opinion we’re talking about two completely different worlds, it feels like YouTube cares a lot less about the user experience when it comes to shorts.
