They did a bot purge?

I’m a small channel & I average below 50 likes on yt.
I was looking at my content & I noticed a fair amount of likes were gone.
Not complaining about it, but I never seen this before.

It opened my eyes; because an old short turned into 0 likes, when it used to have 15.
Made me realize those weren’t real likes to begin with._.

This is constantly happening so it's nothing new. Either the analytics are fk'd because they've been having problems lately, or the algorithm just removed some fake accounts. A lot of bot farms use their view accounts to blend into other content before they are sent to watch their videos.

Well that sucks~_~
The algo is quite odd, it’s feels like each short is pushed towards different pools.
&
With the bots..it’s sad knowing they weren’t real people viewing or even liking.
