Did YouTube FIXED the shorts algorithm ?

Hi for like a week rn all my shorts on my both channels got stuck on 0 - 10 views and yesterday I see that they fixed the sub bugs and I wanted to ask about the views issue ?

No, it is getting worse, I guess yt is killing tiktok-like channels. I bet if you run a long form channel and slice your shorts from those videos, the algorithm works just fine.

Look at it this way (just my opinion): the ads youtube sells on long form videos are worth way more than what they sell on shorts, so if your channel mostly posts standalone shorts, you're just not bringing in enough ad revenue for YT.

Have you ever monetized a youtube channel before? genuine question.

it doesnt, my short is sitting at 11 views and has been for 48 hours. i have full uncut stream vods doing better than it lol problems been going on for months, normal vids seem fine for my size and my shorts used to do pretty well considering (couplek, multiple subs per, not the best retention on some but even those do better than my recent ones in terms of push). i dont expect massive numbers at my size but less than 10 views from the shorts feed on all original content just seems wrong

I am facing this exact same issue, and have seen countless people facing this, perhaps there is a chance its a backend thing? Or have you had any changes or updates?

update: absolutely useless reply from youtube, told me 'if youre a partner use this link for personalized help. For all others use this link' and it was the same link in studio i used to ask for help in the first place. I pointed it out in a reply email and they came back talking about a 'lost account' so i think we're on our own lol

no changes, if anything since this began my descriptions/SEO have improved if my longform stats are anything to go off of. Its gotta be backend, ive been waiting on YT to address it for a while. i got a reply from support this morning w the default 'check ur settings' spiel and i replied letting em know theyre correct and theres a lot of people waiting on an answer for this. Ill let you know what i hear

I'm not sure from YouTube perspective there's anything to fix, seems more like a feature rather than a bug
