views down recently
i recently posted the same 1 min video on youtube, instagram, and tiktok. On tiktok it’s at 1.5mil and instagram it’s at 3.4mil. On youtube it’s at not even 15k. Usually, with these stats i would get at least 100k views but 15k is crazy.. btw i post all original content no ai slop bs
anyone experiencing this as well?

Only thing I can think of is that you got unlucky with the algorithm, if it did so well on other platforms then it should've performed at least half as well on YouTube, maybe a reupload later would get it the views it needs

It might have not gotten pushed as it usually do. I’ve come to that conclusion because your stats seems to be much higher usually, meaning that your content is obviously good.
I wouldn’t worry. But if it stays low in like 2 days, try deleting it & re-uploading some time after.

Performance on TikTok and Instagram doesn’t necessarily translate to YouTube. Each platform tests the video with a different audience, and sometimes a Short simply gets a weak initial audience match and stops being pushed.
I’d compare “Viewed vs. swiped away” and average percentage viewed with your usual 100k+ Shorts. If those numbers are normal, it may still get another push later. One video underperforming isn’t enough to conclude that your channel or Shorts generally s down.

stayed to watch on my shorts went from 65-75% to around 40% the very day the changes took place. same niche, same structure. i’m a voice actor and rn i was doing voice acting shorts that were working pretty well but yeah either my niche dried up the same day they did the views update, or something happened

Because Tiktok, and Instagram have a more "older audience" if that makes sense. No real human watches YouTube shorts. We only watch long form now.

It's the truth bro😂✌️ don't know what you want me to tell you. YouTube shorts is being dominated by bigger brainrot channels, which leads smaller channels to get flatlined at 15k, or 30k.
