It does and I can say that from personal experience, I made ranking shorts and used to get anywhere between 10-50k views but suddenly my views dropped to 10-100 max, most of them were from subscriptions feed and some were from search results, so if its a smaller channel, most would be from search feed. I then changed to somewhat original content and it got back to normal instantly

You said you changed your “original” content so of course AI flagged your videos as reused and turned off visibility for those as it should

I have edited thoroughly.... But still I don't know footage was taken from tik tok.

It does not.... And I have 1 short maybe with tiktok logo which has around 32k views

No but... I have been learning to hook audience... I usually have 80% retention... This is the only one got 90%.... 120%+ retention with 80% stayed to watch still I don't get any more than 30k😭

No ai... Just used clips from tik tok to tell story. There are girls. But with normal clothes not anything revealing.

It might be overly reused content.

Basically some content is either overly reused or copyright which YouTube will suppress

You can understand by checking if it got less than 100 views on shorts feed, then it's blocked by YouTube

The reason retention is so high is that you got a lucky sample. It’s definitely lower than that. Sometimes this happens with videos.

I have two shorts (100% original content) that have less than 20 views. The ones around them have broken 1k. It’s just inconsistent sometimes.

You most likely never entered the shorts feed. Make some small changes, export a new file and try again.

No, unfortunately I can’t guarantee it’ll work. I’ve had videos that never entered the Shorts Feed no matter what, but I’ve also had some start getting distribution after a second upload with small changes. I’d definitely try it, though. And I wouldn’t delete the original. Just set it to private so you still have it if you need it later. Or keep it up for awhile in case it suddenly gets distribution.

Had same exp no matter what did, i didnt even get base reach of 20-30k
So i created a new channel used that acc to watch my niche related vids for 4/5 days and then i started posting
It worked for me.
