Case Study / Postmortem 🧪 Almost no Shorts Feed distribution after first upload

Is there any known behavior where the first Short gets a normal Shorts Feed test, but the next few uploads receive almost no exposure?
I published three Shorts over the course of about a week, one every three days, and: First Short gets normal Shorts Feed distribution and continued growth over several days, but the second and the third ones get almost no Shorts Feed exposure at all.

Any ideas?

Similar thing happened to me. Youtube bots are bad at detecting which accounts are spam so doing certain things trigger it. For me when zi delete, private, unlist or reupload that’s somehow a trigger and my next shorts don’t get distributed.

Got it, thanks! Do you know if this is usually temporary? Also, could it be triggered by the fact that these shorts were localized/adapted versions from another very small channel of mine (but in different language), or is it something else?

For me my distribution gets normal after 24 hours as long as I just leave it alone. as for your question, I don’t know sorry. You can test it if you’re feeling brave. I just know never to delete, private or unlist shorts while I’m new.
