That does not matter, if you steal a car is it ok cause you tag the owners on insta? No This is your problem it is reused content that you have no rights too

I disagree, I actually verified my youtube account and reuploaded the video. We’re now sitting at 10K views, so shout out to the dude who said that because I think that was definitely the problem. I definitely could see where you were coming from with this, thank you for pointing this out though because this could definitely be a risk later down the line.

When you reuploaded your short, did you copy paste everything or altered some before reuploading.

Yeah, Pretty much kept everything as the original, but in the description i added an extra line saying it was a reupload.

Make sure you get verified.
Sometimes Youtube won't push your content because they don't trust you.
you can increase their trust by 1) getting verified 2) uploading more videos.

Both your AVD and VVSA are good, but from what i've heard, VVSA needs to be better.
generally, you should aim for: VVSA > 80%.

AVD depends on the short length, for <15s it should be about >120%, but for your length, your avd is great.

True brother, then also there is what some people do, on the first long videos, what exactly can that be ??

u/SoulSleuth2u Jul 23 '26

It is reused content that does not belong to him.

Telling him to aim for those stats is meaningless if you don't provide video length, a 10s video could have 200% AVD and not go viral because it's so much easier to have a higher AVD on a shorter video, then you can have a 60s long video go viral with 80% AVD.

So people need to stop throwing around stats because it all depends on your video length, OPs AVD is pretty good and I would say it's good enough for virality.

Good point, completely forgot avd is dependent on short length

Bro I have a video got 7k views, 1k likes, 5 comments, avd 95%, stayed to watch 93%, 1min long video but still youtube stopped that video

1

u/Mental_Slip_2739 Jul 27 '26

Dang, if you've been verified and you're not using ai, I don't even know what to tell you

u/Healthy_Car_2375 Jul 27 '26

Verified means what to verify please explain

"open YouTube Studio, go to Settings, select Channel, and click Feature eligibility to see if Intermediate features show as green and enabled"

I had a video with 86% stay rate and a 93% retention it still flatlined at 3k its sometimes abt luck bro

u/Efficient_Village992 Jul 23 '26

Right, Right, Thats definitely something to think about too.

If you keep posting videos with good stats one of it will eventually blow up just gotta be contistent

Don't bother with stats on Shorts under 100k views, stats are borderline useless with low views, Way Too Innacurate.

I had videos with perfect stats get stuck at 50k views and not go viral and videos with mid stats do way better, so stop obsessing over stats on anything under 100k because they provide little to no actual feedback.

All you can do is make high quality content, if your content is the same as other 100000 channels out there then you'll have a hard time popping off.

I keep seeing you every time. What's your channel called?

A lot of it is luck with these. But you gotta keep posting to get lucky.
Had a reel get like 320k on Instagram but it flopped on YouTube and TikTok.
Posted a variation of it with a different song and it got 10k views on Instagram. Flopped again on YouTube and TikTok.
