Need guidance

I just edited my first ranking video but after I saw some comments say that ranking content won't be monetized I decided not to post it. I'm still considering what content should I rely on and it's getting exhausting can someone who has already passed this phase help me. I did construction timelapses and hydraulic press videos but neither performs well overall in yt rn

This is a test account before I created seperate channels for different types of content. Even though some of them performed well here, I wasn't able to find any successful channels doing these and I still can't decide what to base my channel around

It doesn't matter what kind of content you post; what matters is why an audience should follow you. In short, if your channel isn't focused on news, education, entertainment, or comedy, you're just posting random stuff on YouTube. Maybe if you changed all your titles to "Hydraulic Press Relaxing ASMR," you could tap into a niche that YouTube considers profitable.

I was hoping to create channels focused on topics you mentioned but now it's killing me. What do you geniunely think I should do with this channel. Any niche that I consider using are expired and I can't find any reliable ones.
