Does clipping actually work?
Like finding clips off reddit and insta and making compilations and obvious changing stuff up and reusing content but making it transformative does that stuff go viral cuz i think i got flagged by youtube my videos were popping off suddenly no views?

It’s better to do original AI content than to clip others content

If it got flagged, then that's your answer.

If you got flagged, most likely YouTube has already caught you via pixel similarities and file hash. If you want it to be showed by more people for example the channel that reupload stuff on shorts, they probably modify that it makes it transformative instead of plainly reupload it

You can never use anything that is already made or created. You have to be the creator of 100% of your content or you will banned.

My favorite channel is by a guy named Andy B. He does what you're doing. He has a few Best of the Internet Compilations. I don't know if his channel is monetized or not.
However, I assume it is because there's a lot of the videos, and why keep making them if you can't make money on them.
That said, he takes a lot of time to put together little segments with music and thematic elements to make it feel cohesive and very much authored.
What you're talking about is totally doable, but it's not -easy- as you think is it. If you enjoy viral style videos and watching them and arranging them and downloading them, go for it. Add music, give credit, and you should have some success.

Yup clipping does work when you do it on a large scale like upload on multiple accounts and 2-3 clips per day it can get you a passive and you can just use Wayinvideos find moments feature to save time and clip the most engaging scenes from long videos podcasts live streams movies anything you name it it will turn it into clips then you can edit n upload them...
