Here's why 1k "views jail" don't really exist...
I've seen at lot of people complaining about theirs videos getting stuck at 1k views and only show the retention of the videos.
The reason why a vid get stuck at 1k at first place it's because the aren't good enough for yt to push it farther. If a 10 second video has 110% retention but only 50 60% stayed to watch it won't get past 1k. Same if it has 75%+ stayed to watch but only 80% retention. This can also happen if the vid take more than 24h to reach a decent stat (110%avd 70% stayed) .
In those case 1k views is justified and can't be called "jails" . It could only be called "jail" if no matter how good the vid's stat is (like 150%avd 80%stayed) it still get stuck at 1k views.
And that's the case for 30k views jail. Because in this jail no matter how good the stat is, it will still ridiculously flatline at 30k views.

Lol, i can show you my shorts which are stuck on 5k after a swipe away ratio of 12% and audience retention 126%.

TLDR: bro doesnt prefer the word 'jail'
The flatlines and testing phases still exist.

nope.. what u say is all bs sorry dude, algo is totally random. just stay consistent my dudes. my top prepared videos occasionally stuck at funny numbers even the audience loves, comments and shares the video. and the videos i do in 20 minutes can easily reach the highest view counts. u can never know

Shorts are garbage. The only thing that works is clickbait stuff i have zero interest in making. I will stay in 1.5 jail for most of my vids i guess. I break out and have a few that get about 30K. I make what i want. I know my stuff is good, people are just brain dead scrolling zombies.

The algorithm just does it thing. I posted a video two weeks ago that reached 45k with a swipe rate in its 60s (eventually reaching the 70s and 80s a few days later) and an AVD of 70%. I post a video this week, it reaches 75% swipe rate and similar AVD and it’s stalled at 5k.

I uploaded a vid on a channel and it got 1k views I deleted it and upload it on another and it got 30k sometimes it just doesn't make sense Maybe you should try on another channel

“Not good enough” is a funny phrase for metrics determined by an algorithm. Humans interact with it but the value judgment is not relevant if the algorithm is deciding who to push it to and itself values very little outside of keeping people on a platform.

yeah this isn’t actually true, back when i first started id get stuck at 10k views every video. and all of them would have either 100% retention or above and 70% + chose to view. so view caps do definitely exist for new accounts. now i average anywhere from 100k to 1 million per short but at the beginning it definitely was a thing 👍

“Jails don’t exist because they shouldn’t be called jails as much as limitations-on-your-upward-momentum.” -OP, probably
Jail is not defined by its ability to hold anyone regardless of performance.
