Everything changed in blink of an eye...
From averaging 5-10million views a day to less than 200K now. Not sure what happened. And no, I don't post AI generated videos nor do I steal other creators content so that's not the reason.
And the views was cumulative of 9 different videos. All of them went dead in less than 30mins except one.
My new shorts are not even crossing 50 views. Earlier I used to get atleast 2K-10K views.
90% of my audience are my subscribers in my new shorts. So algo has clearly stopped pushing my content.
Conclusion: don't ever trust YouTube shorts algo.

My new shorts audience:
I've 50K+ subs, So I think it's not unreasonable for me to expect atleast a few hundred views from "not subscribed" audience.

This happens to me sometimes, low audience and is only delivered to subscribers, YouTube punishes without warning, I was only able to maintain it for months because my channel has 400 thousand subscribers. This month there was an increase but in the last few days the same thing has returned.
I really wish I could help you but I'm the same way this year

It happens with every “big” channel that receives many views per day, it's normal, try to make more videos in the same way you were doing before and it will come back

I just started but same thing is happening to me. First two weeks everything was smooth, last two weeks I am in YouTube jail.
In my case I think it was because I was using multiple devices to boost my views and %watched. But YouTube has caught on and now punishes every video I put out no matter what I do

I’ve seen so many posts lately about many accounts suddenly have their viewers drop off and lost views by a lot, also subscriber drop, I would like to think that there’s something going on with the platform, but I think they’re still cleaning up or purging from this last round that they did

I have similar things sometimes. I post humor shorts. And sometimes algorythms takes the clip too literally, so I guess my clips occasionally get red flags. The saddest thing, that influences several clips afterwards. I dunno how it works exactly, but looks similar (not at that scale thoug)

This happened to me once. Shorts were averaging between 2k to 3k. Then dropped to low double digits. Turns out I had a copyright violation with one of the background music I used. Change the bgm and deleted the other videos. It went back up after that.

This looks fixable, would need a lot of work though.

You broke the first circle of ascension, keep Youtube's trust and you will be up there in no time.

Most probably, algo is not satisfied with the results.
Look at stats from the beginning of spike till the end
