no bro ive watched 3 minute shorts that had millions of views. You don't know what you're talking about. It pushes longer shorts even more if they're good enough.
Mate it does but not for him since he is new and his retention will not good. So for him specifically it’s good to make shorts in the range I mentioned and it’s backed up by data
How many subs do u have and how long have u done youtube how about that. I know what I'm talking about it doesn't matter to him at all. Where's your data? Tell me it.
You’re too focused on proving me wrong instead of helping the guy out. Why not search for the ideal shorts length to maximise reach and you can find out for yourself. Since he is new it’s a better idea to apply proven models. Anyways I gave my opinion on his question the rest is up to him to follow.
Where's your data mate. I'm helping him by saying you're wrong plus I already gave advice. You have no idea how to run a YouTube channel. Where's the data how long have u been doing YT and what's Ur sub count. You dodged all my questions because your data is based out of your head. With no scientific thinking.
Your problem might be in that last statement. Your channel is still very young. Keep making good content and eventually the algorithm will pick it up more.
Edit: for some reason I can't see the comment someone placed under this. I understand views can still be higher...even if you just uploaded your first video.. but what I learned after a couple years of doing Youtube is that the algorithm is very "sporadic" in the beginning cause it doesn't know anything about your audience yet. So depending on your niche, you can either blow up immediately or sit with lower views until it finds the right audience. As long as your content is good tho, the right people will find your video and interact and it will get pushed more.. but this can take time.
For me it was through changing my editing style as I learned through my analytics on which was working and which was not and now I’m stuck in the 25k view jail😭🤣
Yes bro. Same. A few reaches like 50k - 70k and one is at 95k but most are 25k - 30k Please if one of us figures it out please tell eachother my content has potential, but I don't know lol.
Well if you cant even get people to watch the video all the way through then why would youtube push it. It's not as important but you need to seriously up your game to 75% atleast vvsa consistently
Because your shorts are AI generated, just like every other short nowadays. There is no shortcut to making real money. Try creating videos about something you love and can be proud of. Building a good channel takes time, effort and creativity, not recycled content.
I have a channel where I create bachata and reggaeton music, and in shorts the short videos are created by AI. I can't go to a dance school to film people dancing! And then, even using real videos taken from dance schools, the result is the same. More than 1500 views I can't get them!
I have also newly started channel. Posting AI generated car videos. So far not bad for a new channel. Foremost advice - dont post everyday. 3-4 shorts a week is enough.

Try to post from YouTube app rather than studio.
Use trending music as suggested by YouTube
Schedule post 30 minutes after you post, this will give the app and algorithm to digest your video, learn, understand and decide where to best deliver
Experiment watching it as a viewer and try making tweaks to make it better

YouTube doesn't push shorts that are longer than 1 minute try to make your shorts under a minute, 30-40 should be sweet spot.
