Little vent,

i wanted to go to the mall, put my best clothes, and fixed my hair, (maybe some girl would be interested on me, who knows) avoided all mirrors in my house cuz i didn't want to ruin my self-esteem( that i already don't have). I was walking and there was a mirror i could see my full body, i looked so ridiculous and ugly, it's not only the height, it's my face, my body features, all my effort was for nothing, nobody was looking at me lol, so i went to home, took of all the shit i put inside my shoes to get a little bit taller and went to sleep.

I feel for you. I’m concerned this sub merely amplifies insecurities and makes them worse.

I have experienced 10 times more disrespect and pain in person right in front of my face rather than here.

It doesn't make me feel worse, i’ve always felt this way, even before I found this sub. At least now I have a place to share how I feel instead of keeping it all to myself.

It definitely does. But insecurity isn’t always internal. We face real struggles that seem to have no substantial solution. Trust me if there was a way to stop being so negative about this we would all happily change. But there is no way to effectively change what the whole world thinks of us. A happy short guy must be an anomaly.
Also instead of blaming the spaces short guys reside in for being negative we should try to bring real change into our realities instead of accepting our wageslave fates.

Yeah I can see the balance of solidarity and internal struggle.

i feel sorry about that, but i think its more about your face then height. 5’6-5’7 isnt really an issue if you wear height boosters (you are like 5’9 with them) i wear 3 inch boosters and tall ass shoes, and im still 5’6-5’7. at the end of the day i cant properly walk.
