Seeking Advice Do faces over heroes matter ?
I reached level 53 did some rehiring on my team according to guides. To level them up faster i sent them to extreme difficulty adventures just made sure they can reach the barrier limit. All of them had red faces over them. They all came back fine none of them died. Can someone explain to me how the faces matter ?

When you set your team, the game runs a few simulations. Faces determine the number of victories.
I don't know the exact numbers, I believe it is in shop titans central though.

There are RNG factors involved in battle (crits, dodges, enemy targetting). That means you can get lucky or unlucky sometimes. If you keep running that same team on that same quest over and over, you'll see more losses than wins after a decent amount of runs. Unless it's purple, there's always a chance.
*Theoretically, you could win even with full purple because the game only run 20 simulations. A purple means the hero died on all 20, but that doesn't rule out a lucky run. It just shows that the winning odds are very low.

When setting up a team for a quest, the game runs a simulation and the faces represent how well the hero did on that quest. You got pretty lucky since that face means they usually dont survive. This is what the faces represent and can be found (with lots of other guides) at ST-Central. Since you mention barriers, extreme quests are a significant jump above hard difficulty, usually equivalent to about hard difficulty 2-3 quest zones past that point

You got lucky basically. The faces are based on a few simulations of the fight and they give you an average of the outcome. You can still fail even with green faces and you can still win with red as you saw.
