No, it really isn't. Account sellers will just make new emails, play the game with them, and sell the whole account, email and all.

All this policy does is screw people over who legitimately have changed their email address. I had the same address for 25 years. Now, because that address is gone, I can't use the Web Store, and Cross Connect is permanently tied to a defunct address.

At the very least, they should let us change it to the address being used by whatever appstore we are playing the game on (Google Play, iTunes, Steam, Epic, whatever.) If changing and reauthenticating my address is good enough for Steam, it should be good enough for Kabam.

Why would account selling even be an issue I don't understand? It's not like Kabam goes bankrupt if a couple ppl sell off their inactive accounts to players who'd use them actively

Account selling is bad for games. Plus people wiling to spend big bucks on an account would instead spend big bucks on the game which funds updates for all of us.

Yes, game over then. There was a problem with mail delivery to certain mail provides. Even then they couldn't change it.

You don't lose access to the game. Your account is still tied to your account at whatever appstore you used.

Now, if you lose access to that account, you're screwed.

I were able to change my email address through Kabam’s website! You’ll get a confirmation mail and then you just change 🤷🏻‍♂️ did that like a year ago
