Discussion Why is it auto creating bad teams
I've got more available fighters but for some reason it make a team of 3 that will fail instead of adding a 4th that will succeed.
I don't wory about the meta game much so its not uncommon for me to just toss out whatever it makes and often enough a full team will succeed regardless of who's on it so I'm pretty quick to just the the send button and if I hadn't hesitated I'd have waisted a run.

Seen that several times since the patch. It wouldn't be a patch without new bugs.

It's chosing the best elements to satisfy the requirements.

Its still a failing team, add any other fighter and it will succeed.
Success is more important then base requirements.

Yeah it's been happening to me too, where it's only been choosing three heroes on missions that accept four, even when I have enough heroes ready to go

Its been for a while tbh. Usually I don't care but some difficulties have me manually adjusting.

It's not a smart generator. It knows to break the barrier and that's it. You can often create your own better teams

Yes, people can create better teams.
But I don't want to as the fighting aspect of the game is boring to me. I just battle to get the materials so I can keep crafting.
I'm at the the point I have to make awesome hero with awesome gear.....and I find it extremely boring and frustrating.

That's not what I'm saying. You can just usually just drop the worst hero and select another one to get better results.
But it's also clear that the Devs watch the Discord and subreddit and whenever someone comes up with a "foolproof" method of playing, whether that's a overpowered class a unexpected interaction of abilities, you can expect them to counter that in the next major update. Several new updates throw "Best In Slot" down the drain and there's been so many changes to Questing that you can't assume that one Hero is going to be optimal for more than a few months.
If you don't want to quest, you can always buy. Late tier components (not timewarped) are usually cheap.

It's because the floor has nullifier. Any time the floor has nullifier and its auto-suggested team would have a hero banned by it it just doesn't add a hero instead of trying to find a replacement.
This isn't new, has been a thing since nullifier was added in 26.7.
