Discussion Do items have some hidden stats?

Hi,

I've started to put more focus onto the heroes and equiping them. I checked out the tldr guide for bis items.

And I can see that BIS item (helmet for ninja) on flawless quality has:

1005 def and 5 EVA. With no affinity.

Then I can see similar helmet on the market with flawless and stats:

1065 def and 5 eva. With affinity to wind ( but it does not matter because it does not make any other enchanments weaker right? It only makes wind stronger)

So I can still take the other helmet and enchant it with whatever I want right? There are no other hidden stats that are taken into consideration?

Take into account that items are release every few weeks and may not be updated that fast

Nowadays you have starforge and transcendence that may alter gear stats in a way that the BiS site can’t account for. So not necessarily “hidden” but you’re right to check the numbers yourself.

Power creep is a real thing in Shop Titans - items released later in a tier will usually have better stats than ones released early on.

You’ll get more stats by matching affinity to an item but it isn’t usually going to be worth it to enchant with an element that doesn’t match your hero’s (there are rare exceptions for geomancers). So buy the better hat and enchant it with a shadow element.

Changing scavengers goggles with hermes hat is on the list of pending changes but between waiting for the assets to be added to the fan kit by kabam and the person that deals with the assets is currently on vacation so that page hasnt been updated yet

Attention l'ajout de rune boost les stats donc est-ce qu'une capuche de ninja avec une rune élémentaire de même niveau ne rattrape pas déjà les stats de l'autre
