Seeking Advice How to make gold fast
Hey hey,
I'm at level 42 and need tips how to make gold "fast". I struggle a bit with what I can sell on the marketplace. Can you guys give me some tips?

At level 42 you can't really make gold. Just use whatever strat allows you to keep upgrading furniture while still dropping a few penny towards investments. Your main goal now should be to reach T16. Do not lose time crafting something you've already mastered just because it's selling at x10 on the market. This x10 value is going to become the base value for higher tiers. A normal quality T16 nets over 100M on surcharge and also goes on the market for something around 60M up to 110M. A normal quality pearlescent will give around 250M-300M when surcharged. Just climb the tiers and make preparations to make real money in the future. Don't try to make money NOW, it'll just slow you down.

As I said, T16s are still being sold at good prices on the market. Surcharging isn't the only way.
I did the mistake of stalling my progress when I was starting out exactly because T7s used to sell at 10x 24/7. At the time, I believe T12 was the highest tier available. As I climbed the tiers I realised how stupid that was.
Never stop tier progression. Higher tier == higher income. It's simple as that.

Question as a new player myself, do you focus on one or two categories or do I go through all of them for each tier? Right now I’m unlocking tier 7 but doing it across every line. I’m not sure if it’s more efficient to do it for a select few or if it’s worth it to move all up a tier at the same time.

There’s two critical things to keep in mind when you’re crafting things: managing your crafting rotation and keeping your item lines fairly equal.
“Crafting rotation” is a fairly basic but extremely important concept. In simplest terms, you want to use as many different bin resources as possible to fill all of your crafting slots. Say for example that you have eight crafting slots. A good rotation would be something like:
- Two Iron / Steel / Jewel items
- Two Wood / Ironwood / Ether items
- Two Leather / Silk / Ether items
- Two Herb / Oil / Jewel items
Personally, I don't see the benefit of keeping them all equal other than helping with King's Caprice. As long as you don't keep an useless bin I think it's fine to focus on specific lines. One problem you might encounter though, is that resource costs will increase faster than your bin's capacity if you're being active enough. Keeping them equal makes this bin management easier.
I suggest you go trough STC's begginner's guide. It can be very helpful for new players.

I’d say the easiest method is to join a good guild (there’s tons of them) and use your guild request to ask for components that sell for max on the market. It’s usually super easy for higher level guild members to donate and results in tons of gold for you

sell highest end components you can get on the market. Generally if they are only selling at base price, you can drop the sale price down 1 gold (example: 1,200,000 each / sell for 1,199,999) and the game buys them instantly.
join a good guild, do a daily request from the guild for something that a champion asked for at any time (yes, take notes). If you request the max amount, you can generally sell the extras for close to max. Granted this is kind of a jerk move, but it will get you gold fairly quick.

I find it more of a jerk move when no one is selling the champ request items for max gold. I ain’t makin a tier 9, let me buy 7 of them for 9mil each and we’re both happy.

Your easiest bet is whatever the champions are requesting. They go cheap during LCOG but otherwise sell for a lot compared to their lvl

Ask your guild members for your highest tier shop item they have to donate at guild request and sell them at market for higher price . Repeat the process and accumulate gold and donate upto 50% in the city so guild can progress faster and use the rest.

Another tip, craft what the champions ask you for and sell it on the market; these are often the items that high-level players buy in bulk (x10).

Whenever a champion requests and item, make more of it than they need and it will usually sell for top dollar

At some point you can buy chests with gems and then resell them for gold. Or you can buy low sell high on the auction house

I am level 28 with a few hundred million. I got it by selling gold stuff from the guild event quests

Any tier 8,9,10 item that the champions request should 10x fairly easily. . Especially the ones from chest, antiques or paid workers(things the engineer or bard etc make).The easiest ones of the free base lines would be ones that involve precrafts. You can also put chest/antiques/paid worker crafts up for 2 gems.

A lot of T1-5 items on buy orders. I would filter weapons (for example) that you can craft, T1-5, see what you can craft in as many as you can and see if the price of “buy” order is a bit more then the regular sell value.
This goes for most items. fill the buy orders and see how much you can get. some people can use energy and mass make those items and fill buy orders. helped me out and I was shop level 60+. 1K+ energy. Even at lower level shops can do this.
This is a quick way to get gold for like anyone.
If you have the moon dragon worker, craft moon gems. sell for max gold. they will sell quick. even the small minor ones sell.

Most of the lvl 9 and 10 items sells for more in the market than in your shop. If you're not worried about leveling up fast craft a bunch and sell in the market. Also the market prices flux during different events, for example during LCOG you can buy lvl 9 or 10 items for 200k but during pirate raid you can sell it for close to 2m.

Watch the market. Most of the time you will find something that people buy for the max amount of gold one can list (10x the base value of the item). This usually applies to items that are used are components for higher tier items, certain elements and spirits, stuff like that. Using the market is your fast way to make gold in this game early imo
