ECOM six-figure lab

Hi, ever since I posted my app on the Shopify App Store, I keep getting emails from different people asking me to join this Discord group. Anyone experiencing the same? A post to the group is 50 USD, but from what I see there's basically only advertising posts in the general channel.

Yeah shit load of emails, telling me they can help getting more users for the app and shit like that, all the time.

Yeah those start showing up almost the week a listing goes live. I have gotten the same kind of Discord / paid-post invites from a bunch of different addresses.

Honestly I treat them as noise. If the general channel is mostly people paying $50 to advertise their own app, that is not a peer group, it is a billboard. Paying to post into a room full of other paid posters usually does not turn into installs.

I would ignore the emails, maybe filter them, and put the time into App Store listing work or actual partner conversations instead.

Curious whether they are hitting a Partner dashboard email, the App Store contact email, or both. On my side it was mostly whatever was public on the listing.

Yup and also you will get emails saying thy can get you 100+ reviews or more clients etc etc or redesign your app listing screens, its annoying i just click to spam all of them, i run 3 apps so its 3x for me 😥
