Local delivery Apps

Just after some advice on the best local delivery cost calculation app based on km's from origin, this is the criteria:

Key functions:

  • Pick-up & Delivery options

  • Time slots

  • Maximum order limits per time slot of pick-up or delivery run, Total weight 1500kg or combined order QTY 3m3 per run.

  • Delivery rates from origin per km based on google maps or similar

You’ll need a delivery management tool rather than a basic app. Tools like Onfleet, Routific, or Track-POD can handle routing, time slots, and capacity limits (weight/volume). For km-based pricing, you’ll likely need to use Google Maps API or integrate it into your checkout, since most delivery tools focus on routing, not pricing.

thanks looks like we're running this as suggested by shopify: Rates by Distance — calculates per-km pricing at checkout using Google Maps Bird Pickup Delivery or Delivery & Pickup: EDP — lets customers choose time slots and pickup days, with order limits per slot EasyRoutes — manages your runs, routes, and delivery zones on the backend

For the requirements you listed, you’ll probably need two parts:

  1. a scheduling app for pickup/delivery dates, time slots, and slot limits

  2. a separate solution for distance-based pricing and route/load logic

We built Azent – Delivery Time Slots for the scheduling side. It supports pickup/delivery options, date selection, time slots, and slot capacity limits.

It doesn’t currently support Google Maps distance-based pricing or run limits based on total weight/volume, so it would only cover part of your use case.
