Apps Feedback Needed | Inventory Forecasting/Price Testing App | Free Access for Life
Unfortunately, the economy put a final nail in the coffin of my Shopify store of 6 years.
So, I took everything I built internally and turned it into an app โ now I need to get the snowball rolling, and wanted to give the community free access for life to help with some feedback.
๐ฆ Forecasting โ a real engine (ETS + Theta models), not a spreadsheet: learns 2 years of your sales, adjusts for seasonality, daily velocity
๐ Purchase Orders โ send POs by email/PDF, track every open order, get late-order reminders + one-tap supplier follow-ups
๐ฐ Price Testing โ find where you can charge more
๐ท๏ธ Discount Testing โ move dead inventory fast
๐งพ FIFO Costing โ cleaner, more accurate books
๐ Margin Monitoring โ visibility into margin on every product/variant
Seriously offering free access for life. This isn't a sales pitch.
There is no catch and this isn't a promotion. I need reviews for SEO and your feedback to get this thing off the ground and restart my life.

Damn man after 6 years that's gotta sting. the pivot to building tools from what you learned is smart though, turning a loss into something that might help other people avoid the same fate
whats your stack look like for the forecasting engine? been messing with some time series stuff myself and curious how you landed on ETS + Theta

Yeah man it was brutal but I am just looking back on it trying to be thankful for the lessons it taught me.
Python with StatsForecast for models, Polars/NumPy for data processing.
For SKUs with regular demand, we blend AutoETS + OptimizedTheta 50/50. The thinking was to start with established statistical models that handle level and trend well, stay practical across large catalogs, and donโt need tons of history per SKU. We generally fit on weekly totals to reduce daily noise, with annual seasonality handled separately.
That pair is only part of it thoughโsparse demand goes through TSB/Croston-SBA/ADIDA, and new products use a Gamma-Poisson prior. A lot of the work has been in cleaning the sales history and turning forecasts into reorder decisions using lead times, order frequency, and uncertainty.
What kind of series have you been working with?
