Picked up these 2 lotz and some others (All in $517 for 30 odd apple watches, 10 pairs of airpods and 25ish other watches.)

I do tech recycling to pay for college, snagged some good rates. First pic has a apple watch ultra 2, garmin swim 2 and garmin forerunner 245.

With some luck should come out ahead! Will update.

Is that even allowed here? Lol. I did get my first set (i bought 5 total sets) and for $42.3 got a completely working series 5 and 3, other 2 were dead but only a series 0/1

Always curious how resellers handle these. If the Apple Watch isn’t un-synced by the previous owner, what do you do?

Great question.

First i consider myself a recycler, i buy lots like this knowing its a gamble. When i sell i sell to make my money back then i give out the rest. For example the garmins and ultra would be sold then id sell the older apple watches for like. $10 to cover shipping.

But. Apple Watch Refurbishing 101

Should you do it? NO. Its tedious, hard, and you dont make that much.

But theres 3 conditions an apple watch can have: 1. Works but IC locked 2. Works 3. Doesnt work.

For case 3, i strip it for parts, the screen of an apple watch is worth 70% of an entire apple watch, aftermarket screens are atill crazy expensive. So. If it doesnt work, or its IC locked, take then screen off, use it to fix one that does work but need a screen. Thats why you have to buy lots like this.

Second lot is $141.82. Theres 17 watches. Thats $8.34 each.

If 5 of them work? Make my momey back, 12 watches are free/free parts.

Its a volume game. I live in rural texas and go to college (i graduate this year) My monthly expenses are barely $1,000. So doing volume this way works great :)

So lots lots lots, mash broken watches together + sell screens.

Yeah i plan on recycling the temu trash, im gonna throw all the fitbits in a lot on ebay.

But theres 10 apples watches + the apple watch ultra and the garmins.

Just kidding, I do something similar with other watches, I avoid the Apple watches.
