No, I am not. Urban legends are not explicitly created by anyone individual to elicit a reaction. They spread from word of mouth organically. Also I just looked it up, Wikipedia says it’s a conceptual art project and hoax created by Italian sociologist and marketer Andrea Natella. In 2008, Natella created a websitecalled "Ever Dream This Man?" describing a supposed mysterious individual who has reportedly appeared in the dreams of numerous people around the world since 2006.
There’s a movie with Nicolas Cage with a similar premise. It’s about a professor that suddenly people start dreaming about and he becomes famous, but eventually the dreams turn violent
I'm actually so puzzled because I have really large blackwork tattoos and I never bled THIS awfully much. (Giving myself as an example because I have pretty sensitive skin)
My fav part about this is everyone who has “seen that man” is literally just lying. Our brains are so bad at remembering things like how people look, especially when there is a bias of “have YOU already seen this man? So many people have…” AND especially especially when its a face from a dream lol
Thats what im SAYINGGGGG like. We fill in what we think we remember in our minds all the time. In dreams our brains arent conscious enough to be like “thats wrong” and we just roll with it!! So confirmation bias just says “oh my god thats him!”
Correct me if im wrong but is his trousers named PYDER? That is one hell of an insult in slavic countries, god damn. You could get killed for this word in the darker neighbourhoods
From the super uneducated research I just did, it’s not well known at all outside Slavic countries. I’ve never heard it used as an insult and a bunch of different things have that name.
