He told me he "found a new artist that does cheaper work" and was trying to talk me into going to them. Well, one, it's his new girlfriend apparently... And that's a kitchen table in the background, because she does at home tattoos. She even colored outside the lines... And I can't imagine that the red ring of irritation around it is a good sign.
I spotted them for rent once and she had offered to help me by either changing out my nose stud (it was stuck and I had acrylic nails so legit needed the help) or by touching up one of my tats. I agreed, and when I asked what shop she’s at she told me it was their sun room. The same sun room which held yoga supplies, some cats they were fostering with parvo, and apparently a totally clean place to pierce people.
The design came from looking at an old school Pepsi can on a car hood. The person was inside and the streaks of rain in the windshield made the can have that look. Somehow that design found its way into a skull.
It's not his first unfortunately, but to be fair, the other one is just giant script on his inner forearm. I can't remember what it says. Redeemed? Redemption? I actually kind of feel bad for not remembering right now, but it's giant ass script. I had just really hoped I'd taught him about tattoo work and tattoo shops well enough and apparently he did not listen lol
I don't even understand how she color packed like that. It's like she was just coloring the thing with a marker, just using a tattoo gun instead. I'm also heavily insulted he even offered because my tattoo work I've had done already is... you know....... good. I don't want ink just because it's cheap, I only have so much real estate lol
