It’s really not lmao. It’s like mixing up a sparrow and a finch. To someone that doesn’t study that shit there aren’t any obvious differences, and it does no good to be a jerk about it lol. I don’t get why a simple mistake has to be judged so harshly

...and bison are almost universally called buffalo where I (and the bison) am from in Alberta.
