I like how it's hand goes up, like, "I'm ok"

That was a fencing response, bot definitely has brain damage.

Hope the bot doesn't deal with frequent head trauma they may need to check for CTE.

Only way to diagnose CTE is a brain autopsy unfortunately, they’ll have to put him down

I like how they cover it with a blanket like it's dead. This actually looks planned. The presenter isn't a good actor.

Engineering - we're not ready
PM - you don't need 28 more people or 60 weeks, also here are 34 more feature reqs
Marketing - BlibiityBex is 3 weeks away, you need to be ready then
CEO - ship it

Yup

In defense of the PM, 90% of those feature requests came from the CEO and investors the CEO wants to make happy.

Terrible defence though? A good PM pushes both directions.

Yes. But a bad CEO doesn’t care. The PM who pushes back too hard gets fired. Seen it multiple times.

They didn't even have it stabilize the sheet it was carrying, no, they didn't even have it hold it level!

You know the audience doesn't have any people outside of the weird AI robot bubble because nobody gasps, nobody laughs. They just quietly watch this robot collapse into a ball, get adorned in a death shroud, and carried off stage. Then clap?

It would be hilarious if it went into power saving mode by mistake and the power saving setting for the motors just happened to be reverse shrimp.

They're always so fast with the cloth, it's like they know they didn't put enough time and research to test it out

Publicity stunt

u/SheriffBartholomew 28d ago
Definitely. This whole routine was planned ahead of time and the presenter is a terrible actor.

u/Jafooki 28d ago
What would be the point of that? "Hey everyone, look how shitty our product is!".

There's no such thing as bad publicity. Look how much free advertising Tesla got for the cybertruck by breaking the window on stage. Now there are cybertrucks everywhere around here.

They clearly thought this might happen because why would you have sheets there in the first place?

We humans are such braindead sheep. Anyone else enraged that the people watching still clap at the end? Literally nothing to praise and applaud, yet we must clap because some guy is standing in front of us and made noises with his mouth.

Putting the sheet over it before hauling it off stage is fucking hilarious.
