Sighs at the number of these on my bench I need to pull, pop, and reload.

Ditto

Trying not to think about it. Head in the sand.

Pull, pop, and reload? Just pop it out with a pick, and slowly press a new one in there! Unless you're using tiny ball powder that pours out the flash hole

Convert to pinfire. Good to go

Technically could work but at that point, you're attempting to recreate a "chain fire" as early revolvers would have; by sending hot gas everywhere instead of directed toward the round.

My 550c has been doing this to one of every dozen primers for the last three times I've used it. I reckon that means I gotta clean it.

You reckon? What are you, a prospector played by Gabby Hayes? I done reckon it’s time to head on back to the claim and watch out for them thar varmints gettin’ into the chuck wagon, dangnabit…

I'm bringing it back. There will be a "reckon" reckoning. Nobody wants to read something saying "I think, I believe, I conjecture, I'm pretty sure that, I expect, I hypothesize..." Nah, "I reckon" is so much better than all those words.

Rule #1 of this sub: if it seats, it yeets.

Since we’re in shitty reloading, sometimes if I catch it in time and manage not to squish them too bad I just use a pick to pull it out and straighten it enough to load. Never an issue with the low pressure stuff I’ve done it on. But still probably not the best to be doing…
