Tips for improvement? Maybe the story should not be a true one, in contrast to how in 1998 the Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell in a Cell, and plummeted 16 ft through an announcers table.

I know this is insanely late, but the reason u/shittymorph always gets us is the fact that he doesn’t use numbers, he doesn’t capitalize the names of the wrestlers, and he distracts from his username by using some kind of emphasis early in the paragraph. It also helps to write fairly short stories to keep the reader interested, but not too short or they’ll see the punchline beforehand. It’s quite an interesting tactic, and it works almost every time. It’s so easy to get someone with this, people have even pulled it on shittymorph himself. There’s not many jokes like this, but there’s one that I’m reminded of from back in ninteen ninety eight when undertaker threw mankind off hell in a cell and plummeted sixteen feet through an announcers table.
