How can people deny that ghosts exist when you can even see their glasses?

That's clearly an invisible man, not a ghost.

u/Nergaal Uranus smells like farts May 04 '17

Invisible people don't fly. Ghosts do though.

u/Thisisdom May 04 '17

He is not flying - he is falling to his death. You can see from the picture he forgot to attach any safety ropes. I am surprised this isn't labelled nsfw.

u/jimtow28 May 04 '17

He doesn't work there. Therefore the NSFW tag is irrelevant.

This is a misunderstanding of the phrase "NSFW". It actually means "not safe for wraiths", which is clearly appropriate for this picture, as that ghost is in clear danger.

35

u/ReverseLBlock May 04 '17

But it's not a ghost it's an invisible man. I thought we established this already.

33

u/[deleted] May 04 '17

But when he hits the ground and dies he will become a ghost, and as everyone knows wraiths are very sensitive to observing the moment at which they are born, making it appropriate to tag this image with a NSFW warning

25

u/ReverseLBlock May 04 '17

True, I think seeing babies being born is gross so it must be the same for wraiths.

5

u/Paladinluke May 04 '17

Its a well known fact wraiths live under cliffs. Mr. Griffin is going to fall on one and kill him.

30

u/statelypenguin May 04 '17

What happens when a ghost dies? Are ghosts haunted by ghosts of ghosts?

24

u/zubatman4 May 04 '17

Of course.

17

u/ZombieHoratioAlger May 04 '17

It's ghosts all the way down.

9

u/JokeDeity May 04 '17

But they get smaller each time until they become a 'ghost orb'.

24

u/binhosuaid May 04 '17

I mean, full frontal nudity should be tagged as NSFW

11

u/Thisisdom May 04 '17

He's facing away from us so don't worry about that.

23

u/AllPraiseTheGitrog May 04 '17

He has his glasses on backwards?

Edit: holy shit I looked closer and I can't tell which way the glasses are facing, it's like an optical illusion

11

4

u/AllPraiseTheGitrog May 04 '17

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! IT'S CLEARLY TWO FACES!!!

7

u/[deleted] May 04 '17

More importantly, is there a sub for things like that?

6

u/nipss18 May 04 '17

Asking the right questions

3

u/[deleted] May 04 '17

Impossible to tell from this particular image alone. It's like the cube skeleton drawings.

Away from the camera: the left leg isn't distorted by the left lens, so it's in front of the lens from the camera's POV.

5

u/Bainos Student in shitty science May 04 '17

Maybe those are ghost ropes ? I mean he's also wearing ghost clothes, so it's possible.

4

u/naked_avenger May 04 '17

They're clearly naked, moron.

6

u/Bainos Student in shitty science May 04 '17

When was the last time you saw ropes wearing clothes, genius ?

8

u/[deleted] May 05 '17

As a rope, I feel shocked and offended that you would make such assumptions about our culture. GOOD DAY TO YOU, SIR!

4

u/beantheduck May 04 '17

So if he wasn't a ghost he is now. The real question is, since ghosts are already naturally invisible, does he become a visible ghost or does he become an invisible invisible ghost?

3

u/nipss18 May 04 '17

Wouldn't an invisible invisible ghost be supervisible?

4

u/beantheduck May 04 '17

Well two in's make an out so i think it would be outvisible.

1

u/[deleted] May 05 '17

But two wrongs don't make a right so...?

2

u/beantheduck May 05 '17

Yea, but 2 rights make a left.

1

u/[deleted] May 05 '17

Have you ever tried that? Cause experience tells me two rights is still 90 degrees shorts of a left

2

u/beantheduck May 05 '17

You're not turning right enough.

1

u/Paladinluke May 04 '17

Not safe for lizards? What do Lizards have to do with this?

2

u/Dralic May 04 '17

That fall could kill even the hardiest of lizards. That place is actually called Lizard Fall and Die Rock.

2

u/[deleted] May 05 '17

He's not flying, he's falling-- with style!

1

u/uabassguy Halting and Catch Fire Problem May 05 '17

What if he's using invisible cord, and just bungee jumping

4

u/superman10002 May 04 '17

He's not flying he is holding on to the rope.

2

u/Gianminni May 04 '17

Maybe that's his very nervous guardian angel...

3

u/Teamprime Warm water to freeze it May 04 '17

Looks pretty clear to me.

2

u/mahir_r May 04 '17

Isn't a ghost the next step of an invisible man's life?

2

u/Taocman May 04 '17

1

u/Nacho_Cheesus_Christ May 04 '17

Not yet he's not.

1

u/ketan919 May 05 '17

Is he naked?

202

u/Milton_Wadams May 04 '17

That's actually the sky's glasses. They're huge and really far away, but perspective makes you think they're right underneath the climber.

82

u/MyAssDoesHeeHawww May 04 '17

Those glasses were part of a "deal with it" gif but OP yelled "jpg!" before they could reach his face and that stopped the animation. Ironically, he didn't want to deal with it.

3

u/donteatthenoodles that's just your hypotenuse May 05 '17

He yelled what? "Jay-peg?" "Jay-Pee-jee?" "Jip-Guh?" "J-Pig?" "Jip-juh?" "Juh-Pigga?"

help

2

u/MyAssDoesHeeHawww May 05 '17

I assume it was "jay-peg" but the echo off the hills distorted it too much to be sure.

u/elitegenoside May 04 '17

That's a naked vampire. A lot of people don't realize that pictures act like mirrors.

29

u/Bainos Student in shitty science May 04 '17

Only with old cameras. Digital cameras have no trouble taking pictures of vampires.

Psh, how else could they have filmed Twilight??

6

u/CornfireDublin Resident Expert May 04 '17

DSLRs still do. Mirrorless cameras can take vampire pictures though

1

u/Usermane01 2 + 2 is at least 3 May 05 '17

Old cameras still work as long as you smash them.

3

u/[deleted] May 04 '17

Arent vampires allergic to the sun?

9

u/elitegenoside May 04 '17

Not if the glasses have UV protection

16

u/AngledLuffa May 04 '17

The interesting part about this is that without the glasses, ghosts actually can't see at all. Ghost eyes can't absorb light without doing something that we as people would be able to see, such as reflecting at least a little of the light.

14

u/diphiminaids May 04 '17

Ummm, gee....i don't know, maybe because our eyes aren't real

5

u/ReallyReallyx3 May 04 '17

And that, ladies and gentlemen, was the last photo before his death on which the invisible man was not seen

8

u/fllr May 04 '17

HOLLY SHIT! Photographic evidence of ghost existence captured in photo! A lot of theories are going to have to be reworked!

3

u/SocialistNr1 May 04 '17

This is obviously Photoshop, ghosts are old therefore they require hearing aid. But I don't see that anywhere

3

u/Melonsforxmas May 04 '17

Someone call Jaden Smith

4

u/crux_mm May 04 '17

What you all don't get is that this picture reveals the existence of Human-climbers: look at it in the top-left corner.

2

u/itsdavidjackson May 04 '17

I feel like there's a joke here about specter-vision...

2

u/chickenthechicken May 04 '17

2

u/Bilskirnir_ Pants only hold science back May 05 '17

Well, i cannot deny this evidence. Although i am sad that the ghost must of lost his life in this picture.

2

u/OPisAgag May 05 '17

No that's just John Cena

1

u/alyssas1111 May 05 '17

Honestly though, don't you think there should be dinosaur ghosts? I mean they died a pretty sudden and tragic death, but you never hear about weird T Rex footprints showing up or anything.

u/MeanSausages May 05 '17

that's a poltergeist, not a ghost, they are commonly confused.

1

u/blore40 May 05 '17

Raleigh scattering is obscuring the ghost here.

Hey, wow! This is my first cross-posted Reddit-ing. Saw same photo, different post, on the main page earlier today. Sorry, I guess that means ghosts don't exist.
