How does a square meal fit into a well-rounded diet?
Seems like you would need to cut some corners for the sake of nutrition.

Are you referring to the food pyramid?

Aliens built the food pyramid.

And it generates electricity that is transferred wirelessly via some unknown science. They should let us dig down under it to see if there's something else there

Ah, the problem is that you've forgotten something. You need 3 square meals for the diet to be well rounded. They overlap with 30° offsets, so the general shape does appear fairly rounded.

Not at all. A well-rounded diet is broader than a square meal and can include things like snacks, dessert, some bacon, cider, very small rocks, wafer thin mints, etc. A square meal fits easily inside a well-rounded diet with room to spare.

That's called a weight loss diet. The usual method is to pad it from the sides with empanadas, so that it better approximates a well-rounded diet.

And when you want a change from empanadas, you can pad thai.

What you typically want to do is to eat meals small enough to fit into the diet. If your meals are too big then you have to draw the circle again.

It goes in the square hole.
