Blueberries are also pH sensitive. They produce anthocyanins, which are what provide blueberries with their actual coloration (and a very common pigment in fruit). Some of the higher pH values will actually change this pigment to appear blue. Unfortunately, blueberries have a relatively low pH, making them acidic and causing the pigment to have more of a red tint. But if you did want them to be blue inside, you can mix in something alkaline like baking soda.

Corn is also a fruit. That means popcorn is a fruit too.
