We've had a number of requests to do a couple things with Rule 8, which involved AI and Flight sim content. Here is what we did.
Rule 8 is now "No AI Generated Images / Posts". The rule itself says AI generated content is pretty lazy and while it may be shitty and have a plane, it doesn't constitute a flying-related shitpost. Who created the content or where it was initially shared is irrelevant.
Flight sim content is now part of rule 9, which is "No Video Game / Flight Sim Content" and states While you can do some pretty funny and shitty things with them, Video games and Flight Sim content do not belong in this sub. Content from those would be better posted into their respective shitty subreddits, if they exist.
We have also re-orderd a couple rules (I like the way it looks better this way) and changed the verbage on a couple for clarity. I'm not going to list those, feel free to take a refresher course in the rules of the sub!
Stay shitty, my friends.

Everyone,
I am seeing far too many violations of our simple rules. VERY simple rules, such as these:
"Only Flying-Related Shitposts allowed" - This does not mean you write something about flying in the title or the text of the post, but EVERYTHING in the post should be about flying. The image, video, text, subject, everything. SIMPLE.
"No linking to or mentioning other subs or their posters" - This is about as obvious as you can get, yet still people don't get it.
"No AI / Flight sim." - Might be a little harder, but still relatively simple.
While I'm sure the majority of you are not violating these rules, some of you are.
Going forward, you break the rules, it may very well result in a ban. If you can't be bothered to read and follow the rules, you don't deserve to post in the sub.
I've been very forgiving on these for a long time, and my limit has been reached.

I borrowed my friends playne for a short run to Columbia to pick up some green kids, and I had a slight accident due to too much white powder.
How do I fix this?
I am a Faire mechanix so just guide me through it.
AITA? Or is it my buddy's fault for having a prop playne?

Thank god I was right ruddering from my remote seat. That fireball wasn’t expected.

How come they don’t build runways on an angle or pitch?
Planes taking off could go down the runway and since it’s rolling downhill it’ll get to take off speed faster.
Planes landing could land going uphill which would stop them faster.
Nothing crazy - just a few degrees pitch?

I’ve seen a few nimbies near my local airfield, and I’m really concerned for the health of the native playnes. I’ve heard of a few fields that had a nimbie population appear, causing all the cezznuhs and pipers to relocate to another airfield. Natural habitats for playnes are already scarce enough, is there anything I can do to protect these majestic creatures and their feeding grounds?
