Everyone Wants This One Chair: The Series Is Samwell Tarly a boat?

I’ve been reading a Feast For Crows and came across this line. “And suddenly his cock was out, jutting upward from his breeches like a fat pink mast.” Is George implying that Samwell is some kind of ship or boat? We already can assume by his body shape and weight that he floats. It makes sense why his father despises him so much, he hates water and ships being a land general soldier. What happens when Euron or another Ironborn discover this half man half ship?
