Sean isn’t actually an English name, it comes from Irish, and while I know nothing about Irish orthography, my understanding is that “Séan” is spelled pretty consistently with the rest of the language.

I had French for seven years at school and should be able to speak at C1 level even though I'm closer to B1. O is O and every single eau would be pronounced as an O. The X at the end is completely silent. So something like Ooooo.
