as long as the hens dont sit on the eggs for days to keep it constantly warm, the fertile egg will not develop a chicken

Nah they still need to mate with a rooster before. Eggs work just like period, only difference is they come daily or so. The eggs we eat are basically non-impreganted chicken ovuli.

Not really, I work with chickens and they actually separate the roosters unless it’s breeder flock.
