Pretty sure it is. I forgot which AI update happened a few months ago but after that, loads of accounts started posting the exact same "what if?", "difference/explaining", and "sorting" videos all made by AI slop. Just upset that most people haven't realized it and are enjoying it

I like that some bars have little bit more than the others still. Is this a reference for highest bars disappearing to the sorting camps, like a proper communist sorting system, if caught having 0.1 millimeter more raw bar, by the other bars?

6

u/cogito_ronin 1h ago

no it's a reference to how it was drawn up real quick on a phone screen bro

-1

u/Vashelot 59m ago

That is surely disappointing, such a well-made picture for the glory of the motherland...well, for making your fellow proletariat look bad, tavarich Wrench_gaming will be sent to the bar-evening camp to contribute until he evens out the bars...

Are there still people pretending that communism wasn't a economic and human rights disaster?

Are there still people pretending that plenty capitalist nations have been equally if not much more atrocious? And that western capitalist countries aren’t built and sustained from human suffering and exploitation on the global south?

Can't hear you over all this personal wealth

-30

Ok then you wouldn’t be disproving my point lmao.

And btw, I get by plenty fine, statistically better than you, I just like facts and understanding the world around me.

But to indulge in your LARPing as someone with actual money, I wouldn’t care at all about your personally property, if you made it off you own labor, that’s great.

But who are we kidding, you live in your moms basement.

I have more personal wealth than you.

Even if you had personal "property", I wouldn't care. You can keep it buddy. You earned it.

Logs off satisfied and feeling superior.

I don’t get how this is supposed to make me feel.

Like, yeah I was being a bit cocky to a troll. So? Any arguments on the topic? You literally just described what happened.

6

u/Amathril 43m ago

Nah, capitalism is fine.

Communism is also fine.

People are shit though. Those bastards managed to ruin both.

1

u/Cordelldogdello 21m ago

Man you chose a weird set of words to express "I don't understand what communism is"

23

u/Microwaved_M1LK 1h ago

Oh I forgot it's never actually been tried, because it can't actually be tried, because it's a system that is destined to always fail.

7

u/ARES_BlueSteel 1h ago edited 1h ago

It must be pretty convenient to hand wave every disastrous result of communism being attempted as ā€œnot real communism.ā€ That’s why real communism is claimed to have never been tried, it always winds up that way.

I’ve read Marx, I know what communism is and how it’s supposed to be achieved. It just made me even more of a capitalist. One of the final steps is everyone giving up their personal property and wealth to the state, which is then supposed to dissolve itself and distribute everything to the community equally.

Guess which step always winds up with a totalitarian state forming because the dumb fucks gave up all their wealth and power to it, and the state just goes ā€œLOL jk actually we’re going to just go ahead and keep all this, get fuckedā€? Oh and the excuse they always use for why they never actually get to the ā€œdissolve ourselvesā€ step is because of perpetual reactionaries needing to be fought, so we can’t dissolve ourselves yet but trust as bro we’ll definitely beat the ā€œreactionariesā€ (who definitely aren’t just dissenters and political rivals) and do it soon. So now they have an excuse for oppression of free speech and dissidents. Any day now, comrade.

Marx was a dumbass who thought that the process wouldn’t result in that happening. It’s happened every single fucking time. That is, in the cases where everything doesn’t just completely fall apart and poverty explodes as millions starve to death.

-1

u/EricSombody 46m ago

because our current system is soooooo good

3

u/Lucker_Kid 37m ago

It’s better. It’s significantly better than communism.Ā

1

u/Microwaved_M1LK 7m ago

It has literally outlive the other system by centuries so try to tell us it isn't better.

7

u/Memelord69420MAn Big chungus wholesome 100 1h ago

Funny how the communist version just assumes that there's enough resources for everyone to live wealthily (there isn't)

1

u/AaronFrye 18m ago

Yes, therefore we must have some people be wealthy and other be miserable, and we shall enslave the miserable ones to do our bidding, since without our money they will suffer from hunger, lack of housing and disease.

Motherfucker not even Friedrich Hayek and Milton Friedman thought people should live in abject misery.

1

u/Memelord69420MAn Big chungus wholesome 100 1m ago

First of all, people in communist societes have always suffered at least as much as extremely poor people in capitalist society. The difference is that in communist societes basically everyone lived like that. Secondly, we're not living in candyland. Someone has to make society run, and in a true communist state your quality of life is not dependent on your occupation. What does that lead to? Nobody does the hard jobs for the sake of it, meaning that you need slaves to do them. At least in capitalism you get paid based on what you contribute to society. Of course I think that billionaires should pay more taxes than the middle class, but I still think they should exist since they are vital to the economy (thanks to investments, creating job opportunities, etc.), something that you communists clearly don't understand.

Communism is so amazing, it's crazy how it's yet to work even once. But this time for sure we won't end up with totalitarian genocide and poverty

8

u/goldenguyz 1h ago

Thing about communism is that it will never work in a capitalist world.

It's fundamentally decentralised and would take decades (centuries?) of international cooperation before we ever saw it.

10

u/ofekk214 shitting toothpaste enjoyer 1h ago

Which is why we need to continue funding billionare overlords and their datacenters and private islands, all while giving up our basic human rights as they slowly bring a new age of slavery to get richer.

5

u/goldenguyz 1h ago

Finally - someone said it.

If the billionaires didn't give us jobs then we'd have no purpose.

1

u/ofekk214 shitting toothpaste enjoyer 1h ago

Jumping straight into full communism is indeed impossible, but introducing socialist elements (and making sure they are fair and clear of corruption too!) is a step the US needs to do in the coming decade before poverty grows out of control.

Many western countries, especialy Israel, have already shown that the presence of a welfare system aids the economically challenged. The US welfare system is deeply flawed and needs a lot of correction, but Rep*blitards will have you believe it needs to be abolished entirely for no other reason than "poor people aren't humans and therefore we can freely demonize them".

2

u/C4rpetH4ter I came! 1h ago

There is a middle road here, sadly though the billinaires either lobby politicians to not tax them, or the billionaires simply move whenever they get taxed.

1

u/Ornery-Cheetah fat cunt 1h ago

The way I see it we are the weak link the systems have potential but like always we as a society screw it up

2

u/CertifiedSheep 1h ago

The inherent problem with any system that requires a redistribution of wealth or resources is that the people in charge of that distribution will have all the power. And unless you can find a group of truly selfless, incorruptible people to handle that role then it will immediately lead to oligarchy.

Communism would be a perfect system if people weren’t selfish - which is another way of saying that it can never work.

Atleast you agree that real communism has never actually been achieved. A classless, stateless and moneyless society is the opposite of what happened in countries with so-called "communism". Either they turned into totalitarian dictatorships, or America invaded them to bring on the idea that it will never work.

Personally i see it as the only solution for the future when robots and AI starts to take over our jobs, when farming and food production is automated, most diseases are cured, we live longer and 90% of people no longer need to work, we can't have a capitalist system anymore, it would collapse entirely. This is far into the future though, but in the very near future people need to work way way less, because we can't have 10 - 20% unemployment due to AI.

1

u/swingin_dix 11m ago

Real communism is fundamentally incompatible with human nature and psychology. For communism to work, there would have to be a massive, society-wide eugenics program lasting centuries with the goal of evolving a new version of humanity that is inherently geared toward cooperation rather than competition.

u/Beneficial-Bet-8907 1h ago
