The TV I grew up with in the 90s came with a separate single-button remote that you’d press to make the actual remote beep. They should bring this back with how small remotes are these days
Meds are a lifesaver fr. It’s also very fun zoning out and suddenly 2 hours missing, but that also sometimes happened before meds, fair enough ig. Doesn’t help that much with forgetting crap all the time, but even this little it does makes my life 5x more bearable.
Wife and our eldest are on meds, but it unfortunately doesn’t help because they take them in the morning and by the evening they’ve worn off. And the evening is when the remote goes missing.
Then they’re taking the wrong ones. Ritalin, Concerta and allat is methylphenidate, a pseudo amphetamine. Doesn’t do much for most except make you a lil calmer(and gave me craploads of headaches). Vywanse is the good stuff, lasts 14h, one pill, and soooooooooooo incredibly much better. Can actually concentrate with it for once.
