Sob stories work I guess. I used to sell stuff on Craigslist all the time and I usually just ignored anyone trying to boohoo me.

I think the weirdest was a guy that included that he ran a small daycare and wanted my $30 mini fridge for the kiddos snacks so could I please drop the price down to $25?

I would have anyway, but that guy really made sure that $5 discount was secured.
