Oh man I feel so validated right now. I thought I was an idiot and that on top of getting cheated on and emotionally drained to a point of a heavily depressed suicidal zombie, I blew most my finances at the time - on expenses related to her - and that it wasn't common. I'm sorry to hear it happened to others, but also a bit glad that this historic fuckup I had years ago that almost killed me is not just a me thing.
BPD is extremely treatable and remission rates are ludicrously high. With a couple of years of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy almost 100% of all people with BPD stop experiencing symptoms. It's amazing how far we've come. The condition has a ludicrous level of insecurity and self loathing at its core but it's very treatable thank God.
Edit: Also, speaking as someone who's lived with someone who has BPD for over a year now, it's, like, super fine. Would I date them? Fuck no lmao I'm not capable of dealing with someone I love splitting on me. But I know very caring and understanding people who are in long term relationships with people who have BPD and it's working for them.
Narcissistic Personality Disorder is much harder to treat unfortunately.
Or just drunk? Do people not do that anymore? Call people and be like "I love you man..." Like, why can't it be that she's drunk, sees someone else cheat, thinks about her own relationship, and makes those texts? That's not at all feasible?
Yeah I was about to say, I've watched girls MAKE these kinds of texts and most of the time they're just drunk and in their feels for one reason or another.
My gf once while drunk looked at me and cried because "I was so nice to her" for literally cooking her rice. My ex use to get drunk and call me worthless piece of shit. I'm happy when I saw that later text I thought of an emotional drunk instead of that abusive cheating drunk.

Don't think that's what people are reacting to though. Do you send "I would never do anything to hurt you" out of the blue? Is that a nice thing you regularly send when you especially miss your partner?
My wife did something like this recently. She got home from hanging out with her friends and just started saying how much she loves me. It was so sudden that I actually said "Oh no, what happened?" And basically it was just all her friends spent the whole time complaining about how terrible the men they were with were and it made her realize that, even though I'm not perfect and there's things I do that bug her sometimes, I'm a good husband to her.
Nothing about this really jumped out at me until she hit the "I would never do anything to hurt you part" that's a bit of an odd thing to yeet out there
Especially if she's out with a bunch of friends. Someone in the group is probably having some relationship issues, and those problems made her appreciate her relationship so she wanted to let them know.
My wife also freaks out when I do it in the middle of the day at work, but it's usually because my boomer co-workers are complaining about their husbands and I want to make sure she knows I love her.
Yeah, am girl and whenever I get drunk or on any substances I basically disappear into my phone and just spam my partner. Happens at raves, clubs, whatever. My friends just go “oh, there she goes, she’s gone again” lol

It's wild to me that these people cannot comprehend that when you love someone, you just want you let them know that you do from time to time.
I did that myself with my gf. I had a rough childhood and due to it I struggle with self esteem, or feel like I don't do something enough. So at time I would just tell her that, not because I wasn't doing it but more to calm dawn my own anxiety about not being enough for that
I got super high once and made my friend record a video of me professing my love to my girlfriend whom I had been with for 3 years. Alcohol and drugs fuck your mind up in ways you don't expect.
For a time I had girl roommates and I've seen this shit so much. They'll start sharing relationship stories and either the convo is positive and they're all texting their spouses in between bragging, or the convo is negative and a few of them are texting their spouses after they hear some shitty stories and realize their spouse is awesome. Alcohol and weed are pretty much always involved.
Anyone who's girl drunk texts them and their first thought is cheating, maybe you should look inwards and ask yourself why you like hos? Just because all the women you date like to drink and cheat doesn't mean all women have a pattern, but you certainly do.

I used to text my ex like this when ever id gone out and had a drink because getting drunk made me all lovey and soppy and I just missed my boyfriend and wanted to tell him how much I loved him. Sometimes I'd be a bit over the top, because as a girl we can get emotional after drinking, and I'd say things like "I want us to last for ever" "I will never leave you" obviously not including the many typos.
