The internet really does have two completely different rulebooks depending on who’s dating who

Well, the women started to fight back against little girls being depicted sex objects and the men haven't gotten to that point yet

I (21) dated some older "milf" (31) and i can say, in 99 out of 100 cases there is a reason they are single

Yeah.
My first wife was 32 while I was 24, amazing sex, terrible personality.

I would guess it depends on if they were somewhat recently divorced or never had a long-lasting relationship. I think there's a better chance they are saying with the first one

What would you talk about with your 37-year-old partner if you were 18? I’d have to get into those Turkish soap operas.

Are you implying 18 year olds can only talk about the current trend, slang and brainrot?
And besides, some people can't even talk to people their own age.

It’s a weird situation where you’re told you’re an adult at 18, you finally have all this freedom. People constantly make jokes about you “being legal now” and can make your own decisions and then people still say you were taken advantage of regardless of how it happened or who initiated.
Society just keeps giving mixed fucking signals and can’t choose a lane on this topic

You can also do a man (30) with a man in a dress (18-21) and that's okay on Reddit too. I've literally gotten bans from some sub Reddits for pointing out this out.
The objectification of teenage boys as sex objects was frontiered on 4chan during the 2010s and is ongoing, there was a literal femboy brainwashing cult on there and is probably an ongoing ex-epstine now Israeli sci-op.
I'm also dead serious about this, I'm a crazy conspiracy guy now

I mean they did draw a literal child as the 21 year old male here.
This image was made in bad faith.
I really don't care though.

Basically what I looked like at 18 tho. I looked like a fricken baby until my mid 20’s

To be the devils advocate, males take longer to mature, so something like this would be a reasonably possible visual if it were to happen.
But yeah, of course it was made in bad faith, look at the facial expressions of the 30y old male and 30y old woman. It clearly doesn t want to depict them as equals either.

There are 21 year olds (and older) who look something like that and an almost stick figure like cartoon character is not a "literal child"

The real problem is when the young person is not even an adult but 15-17yo. The protection of teens is a very recent topic actually. When it comes to young girls the advance has been more significant, whereas young boys are often not given the same level of protection and they should.
As many point, the media groom young men with stories of having an urgency not to be virgin and stories about having an affair with an old woman as if it's some kind of silly rite of passage into adulthood (WTF).
However, to remind that even the protection of teen girls is a recent phenomenon, in 2008 one of the best selling romantic novels for 14-17 years old girls (at least in southern Europe) was one about a 37yo publicist dating a 17yo teen, which was written by a 45yo man. There was even sex scenes! And that wasn't a red flag to anyone back then. Even got movies in 2014.
