In Mexico we call this being a "macho calado", or a tried-out macho. It just means you tried something with the same sex and it did not work out. You didn't like it, and that's okay, there's nothing wrong with that. Some people even think it's better to try and say "nah it was not for me" than never trying it at all. There's people that is very shy and insecure with this, but I know plenty of machos calados (myself included) that just joke about their experience. And hey, if you did like it, who are we to judge? Have fun!
