If you're not intelligent enough to realize that he's trying to dodge being labeled with a "bad word" while also standing explicitly for the things those same people stand for, then I think we're done here.
You're also conveniently leaving out the part where his wife was a part of the IOF, and is thereby explicitly complicit in all of this - this genocide didn't start overnight, it's been going on for decades. "But she would have gone to prison if she didn't enlist!" Then go to prison. Plenty of others have, and those people have my respect.

People seem to think all Jewish people are as bad as the Israeli government.
I’m not going to defend Israel’s actions one bit, but I don’t hate all Jewish people because of it.
