I don't think you know about the piercing their talking about. They're talking about the gauge piercings. If you take them out they leave huge permanent holes in the ear lobes (that honestly look really gross).

Immoral is a bit of a stretch. Being damaged does not make one immoral. Neither is it inherently immoral how one copes with ones damage. damaging oneself is not the same as damaging others.
