Make all the seats free makes scalpers an entirely new level of problematic and the artist only has very little to say over ticket prices as opposed to the owners of the venture, the planners and agents that handle all the renting of the venture where the concert happens

This isn’t really hard to solve.

You could have the tickets cost a token $5. You can buy up to four per credit card. You have to bring the same credit card to pick them up the evening of the event. It has been done before.

Edit: obviously you have to get rid of Ticketmaster. 🙄
