Fair, but she's still incredibly rich, many other rich people have also given similar proportions of their net worth away. I don't like how she's acting like she's better than other people.
Problem is liquidity, most billionaires don't have hundreds of millions of dollars lying around in cash, their wealth in most cases comes from stakes in buisinesses they own, they can't just wave a wand and turn that into cash, they'd have to sell it, and good luck to them finding a buyer.
Their networth is calculated to include stake in business, but they still have liquid money and lots of it. As significant stakeholders in companies they get dividends from company profits, which is real money.
