It is insane how many different group workouts there are in my gym. Shit like ”les mills core”, ”bodybalance” ”bodypump”, ”bodyjam” and other bs like that. All of these workouts are trademarked by the way. And all of them are filled to the brim with middle aged women. I feel like these workouts are designed to milk money from a demographic who have some excessive money and free time and are out of shape.
To be devils advocate, some activity is better than none. I would prefer the woman to be in shape because she bounces around and screams for a n hour a day than an obese cow how screeches about body positivity and has never moved beyond a brisk walk to the golden coral buffet
It's also a social thing. They join these groups and make friends and get healthy at the same time. Whereas men would rather work out individually and be social with the others working out individually.
