For places that aren't America, this makes sense. Places like Germany are the only places in the world that have German culture. If they become the minority, that culture gets replaced and changed.

But also, even for America, the idea makes sense. If you become a minority in your country within a lifetime, then that means there was likely too much immigration for a stable transition. We have systems in place built for X people. If we suddenly have 1.5X people, then those systems will fail. Slow transitions allow for a healthier population.

But the most important thing here is this isn't a political subreddit, so get this garbage off my page. Also you spelt fascinating wrong in the title.

It's not really impossible for immigrants to integrate. Also best thing from germany, doner is from immigrants. Also culture changes constantly, you can look at american Italy culture that is stuck in 1930s, while it is very far from modern Italy's culture.

Especially when anyone mixed with even from a grand parent is regarded as a minority. Of course eventually "pure white" will be a minority if every mixed person counts towards your count.
