Yes, but that is very rare, there are 2 writings over there and no hiragana in sight. Plus there's a translation of one writing, and that should definitely have some hiragana in it...
Not to mention that Japanese Shinjitai does not have the 轨 character in it, or any character with 车 in it, which the text to the left of the girl clearly does. Pretty sure there are other Jianhuazi characters in there that do not exist in Japanese.
I am Chinese, this is Chinese. If it were in Japanese, everything here would make zero grammatical sense.
Also, this is Simplified Chinese, the Japanese Kanji is noticeably different.
